Need For Speed Mobile 2022 Gameplay Leaked Video

The Need for Speed series from Electronic Arts has become a classic, with various racing games released throughout the years. Following the release of the NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered version in 2020, the company now plans to release a new NFS mobile game before the end of the year.

In addition to the main title, a new mobile game in the Need for Speed brand is set to debut very soon. The leaked footage of the claimed game's gameplay was recently uploaded on the r/needforspeed subreddit. You can see it in the attachment below.

It's also been reported that Tencent is developing the aforementioned Need for Speed Mobile 2022 game. According to the gameplay footage, the McLaren F1, Lamborghini Aventador SVJR, and Lamborghini Gallardo are the only cars currently available in the game. The level featured in the leaked video is a slightly modified version of the map from the 2019 game, NFS Heat, and the game has similar drift boost effects as the NFS Edge game.

According to reports, the NFS mobile game will not feature a story or cops and will be developed using Unreal Engine 4. It'll be released by the end of 2022, along with the franchise's next mainline title.

Now, it's worth noting that EA mentioned (via Traxion) the release of a new Need for Speed title in the third quarter of 2022 in its latest Q4 2022 Earnings Slide, along with other notable mentions like the new Apex Legends Mobile and the recently-announced Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-Earth title. As a result, we expect NFS Mobile to release with the main game in H2 2022.
