BGMI Master Series Nodwin Gaming x Start Sports: BGMI Teams, Schedule, Start Date, Prize Pool, and more

The Mobile Game Battlegrounds Mobile India will be broadcasted on television for the first time, boosting esports viewership. Esports fans can now watch their favourite teams fight in tournaments on TV thanks to a partnership between Nodwin Gaming and Star Sports.

By forming a collaboration with Star Sports, Nodwin Gaming has made history by becoming the first company to broadcast BGMI competitions live on television. The BGMI Masters Series, which has a prize pool of 1.5 crore rupees, will be the first live BGMI tournament.

The BGMI Master Series will begin on June 24, 2022, and will air live on Star Sports 2 from 8.30 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. IST. This event will include a total of 24 teams, although the organisers have yet to provide any other information.

Nodwin Gaming's Managing Director and Co-Founder, Akshat Rathee, commented on the relationship. The following is his statement:

"Through this collaboration with a mainstream sports channel (star sports), we hope to break that mold. Satellite television does have its advantages, like its unrivaled reach across every nook and corner of the country (India), uninterrupted and timely broadcast that is not dependent on internet connectivity, and speed as well affordability for the masses living in far-out areas."

"In India, esports is a fast-growing segment that has witnessed increased popularity in the last two years. When compared to its situation in developed countries throughout the world, it has a lot of space to expand in India. It's also gaining traction as a competitive sport in the ecosystem. On digital platforms, esports competitions have already gained a cult following."
