Overwatch 2: Launch date
Blizzard has been hinting at Overwatch 2 for a while, and fans of shooters who are eager to get their hands on Blizzard’s future hero shooter will be able to do it sooner rather than later. Beginning at 3 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, the public can begin playing Overwatch 2. ET (noon PT).

Overwatch 2 will feature a plethora of new game modes, heroes, and maps, but gamers will have to wait about 27 hours to get their hands on the hero shooter universe. With Overwatch 2, Blizzard hopes to not only give players more of the universe that has made the first so popular but also to help ramp up the competitive atmosphere surrounding the Overwatch series as a whole.
It was the first Overwatch that helped Blizzard get into the competitive scene. In the sequel, which is scheduled for release in October, players can indulge in the game’s competitive spirit in a number of player-versus-player game types.
Overwatch 2: Events
In addition, this doesn’t account for the different events that will undoubtedly return with Overwatch 2, such as the Lunar New Year celebration and Overwatch’s yearly Halloween event. Players can change their heroes’ appearance in battle by gathering new skins and goodies at these events.
With the release of Overwatch 2, one of the most notable alterations to the franchise is the addition of additional cooperative content. These tale missions are, however, scheduled to go out at a later date. Players can expect them, however, because Blizzard has said so.
