The CIS Cloud 9 roster won their group and advanced to the quarterfinals, joining Team Liquid and FURIA in the playoffs. The good news for the North American team is that Team Liquid successfully defeated Cloud 9 by a 2-0, securing their place in the playoffs.
In other parts of the bracket, Eternal Fire defeated Movistar Riders easily; the Turkish team defeated the Portuguese team with a commanding score of 2-0.
Ismail “Xantares” Dörtkardeş defeated Movistar on Vertigo by putting Eternal Fire on his back and crushing it 16-9. The team easily defeated Movistar, 16-5, in the second map of the series, Overpass, which was the earthquake’s aftershock.
FURIA picked up the pace in their most recent matches with a 2-0 victory over Evil Geniuses and a strong showing.

By dominating the leaderboards on both maps, Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato took it upon himself to ensure that Evil Geniuses had no chance of pulling off an upset. While KSCERATO played well in Overpass (16-11), he made some more impressive plays in Nuke (16-12), which was the final score.
The playoff brackets have been set, and some incredibly lethal matchups are kicking off the slaughter for the championship round.
