BGMI Unban NewsKrafton, the developer of the popular mobile game Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), is reportedly working to bring the game back to the Indian market. BGMI was banned by the Indian government in July 2022, much to the disappointment of its many fans in the country.
In a recent quarterly report, Krafton highlighted the success of its various titles, including PUBG: Battlegrounds, which saw exceptional sales figures for the quarter. The report also noted the decline in revenue from mobile games, in contrast to the strong performance of PC and console titles.
The report also mentioned Krafton’s efforts to target low-end smartphone users by providing a lighter version of PUBG Mobile, as well as plans for future collaborations with brands such as supercars and soccer players. However, the absence of BGMI was also addressed in the report.
While the statement from Krafton does not guarantee the return of BGMI, it is a positive sign for Indian fans of the game. However, players are advised to avoid falling for fake download links or rumors related to the game’s availability.
As of April 19, 2023, BGMI is still not available for the India region on the Google Play Store and App Store. Fans are advised to exercise caution and wait for an official announcement from Krafton regarding the game’s return to the Indian market.
