Now that Hugh Jackman has signed on for Deadpool 3, director Shawn Levy has revealed that Walker Scobell of The Adam Project is lobbying for a Ryan Reynolds reunion.

After their success with the video game-focused The LEGO Movie, Levy and Reynolds are teaming up again for the long-awaited superhero threequel.

Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and Leslie Uggams' Blind Al will also return for Deadpool 3 with Reynolds reunion.

Scobell, who had impressed Reynolds and Levy by reciting large portions of Deadpool 2 from memory, made his acting debut with The Adam Project.

Since then, Scobell's career has skyrocketed thanks to the Netflix film; he now stars in a family adventure picture for Paramount+.

Shawn Levy recently interviewed E! Online, in which he discussed the upcoming third installment of the Deadpool film series.

The Adam Project actor Walker Scobell is eager for a Reynolds reunion, constantly pressing Levy to bring the two together again.

One of the most famous concepts is Kidpool, a younger version of the iconic Merc with a Mouth who debuted in the Deadpool Corps comic book series.

Deadpool 3 will introduce Reynolds' Merc with a Mouth to the MCU; it seems unlikely he, Levy, and original writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
